Algerian Women's Association Holds Cultural Event at Brussels' La Casbah Café

The Association des femmes algériennes en Belgique staged a cultural event on Friday at La Casbah café in Brussels, showcasing Algerian heritage through traditional dress.

The gathering featured a parade displaying the haïk blanc and the blouza oranaise, garments praised by participants for their beauty and role in cultural preservation.

Attendees highlighted the importance of the event for maintaining Algerian traditions abroad, noting the vibrant colours and craftsmanship of the clothing.

La Casbah café, known as a community meeting and solidarity space, hosted the celebration, reinforcing its role as a hub for the Algerian diaspora in Belgium.
