ANEP launches over 700 titles at 29th Salon international du livre d’Alger

The National Agency for Publishing (ANEP) is presenting more than 700 titles at the 29th Salon international du livre d’Alger, which opens today in Algiers.

The book fair runs from 28 October to 7 November 2026 at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes (Safex). ANEP’s booth is located in the Pavillon Palestine and will host sales‑dedication sessions throughout the event.

Visitors can explore a wide range of genres, with three new releases highlighted: a historical work by Mustapha Khiati, a political essay by Ahmed Bensaada and a sports memoir by Kaylia Nemour.

The pavilion also includes a children’s area offering story readings and colouring workshops, aimed at encouraging young readers.

ANEP’s participation is part of its broader effort to promote Algerian literature and support authors across the country during the international salon.
