Ramy Bensebaïni suffered a violent thigh blow in the final minutes of Borussia Dortmund’s match against Eintracht Frankfurt on 26 October 2026. The Algerian international will be substituted during the contest, with medical staff applying a bandage and ice immediately after the final whistle.

The defender will miss the German Cup second round fixture against Werder Bremen on 27 October 2026 due to a suspension stemming from his expulsion in the Super Cup. This enforced absence may allow Bensebaïni time to recover from the thigh injury sustained in the league match.

Borussia Dortmund’s next competitive fixture is the Klassiker against Bayern Munich on 31 October 2026. Bensebaïni’s participation in this high-profile encounter remains uncertain and depends entirely on his recovery progress over the coming days.
