CNAS Interim Director Meets E‑Certification Authority to Digitise Payment Centre Documents

The interim director of the Caisse Nationale des Assurances Sociales (CNAS) met with the director of the e‑certification authority on 21 October 2026 to launch an electronic certification scheme for CNAS document processing.

The meeting focused on replacing paper‑based procedures at CNAS payment centres with electronic handling, aiming to embed e‑government and modern digital solutions within the agency’s operations.

Officials said the shift will strengthen document security, authenticity and integrity while preventing fraud, and is expected to cut paper use, printing and signing costs.

The new system should also speed up processing and improve performance at payment centres, with a future step to generalise electronic archiving and document management across CNAS.

CNAS intends to strengthen national partnerships as it moves towards broader digital transformation of its services.
