Customs authorities announced on Sunday that a multi‑task force in M'Ghair, Wilaya of M'Ghair, seized 97,050 pregabalin 300 mg tablets hidden in a truck carrying 30 quintals of onions.

The operation is part of ongoing customs efforts to combat drug smuggling and organized crime. The seized tablets were concealed on the vehicle used for the onion shipment.

Customs spokesperson said, "97,050 pregabalin tablets were hidden on a truck loaded with 30 quintals of onions."

The seizure demonstrates the authorities' commitment to disrupting illicit drug routes through the region.
