The last payment deadline for 2026 pilgrimage fees has been fixed for 29 October, the Office National du Pèlerinage et de l'Omra announced today.
Director-General Tahar Braik said the 2026 season has shown tangible success thanks to the President's support and coordinated efforts across ministries. He also noted that Algeria received the Labbaik award, joining other honoured delegations.
Planning for the 1448 H/2027 pilgrimage began before the previous season ended, with the Ministry of Religious Affairs receiving a preparatory document on 29 May. An interministerial commission now oversees the schedule and operations.
A preparatory delegation visited Saudi Arabia on 1 August for a 20‑day mission, during which it negotiated and contracted essential services for pilgrims. The deadline aims to ensure all arrangements are finalized before the departure of pilgrims later this year.
