The Algerian Volleyball Association (FAVB) has announced that the start of the national A championship has been delayed by one week. The decision comes after a review of the 2026‑2027 season.

The FAVB will now begin the championship on 7‑8 November instead of 30 October, giving the teams an extra week to finalize training and logistics.
