Four Palestinians, including a child, killed by Israeli fire in Gaza

On Sunday night, Israeli forces fired on civilians in Gaza, killing four Palestinians, one of whom was a child, according to Palestinian sources.

Medical staff at Al‑Chifa hospital in Gaza City said a body was brought in after a drone targeted a group of civilians on a street west of the city, leaving several injured.

A separate report from a medical source in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, confirmed the death of a Palestinian who succumbed to wounds inflicted by Israeli shelling.

In the south, Nasser Hospital in Khan Younès received the body of a Palestinian woman killed by Israeli gunfire, while Al‑Aqsa Hospital in Deir el‑Balah reported that a child was martyred in the Maghazi refugee camp by Israeli artillery.

The Palestinian health authorities released a new casualty tally on Sunday, citing 74,475 deaths and 175,517 injuries—mostly women and children—since the outbreak of hostilities on 7 October 2023.

In the past 24 hours, seven bodies and 25 wounded were transferred to Gaza hospitals, the same source said.

Since the cease‑fire took effect on 10 October 2025, 1,517 Palestinians have been killed and 5,400 injured, with 839 bodies recovered, the health authorities added.
