Minister Belaribi unveils AADL 3 housing plan to People's National Assembly finance committee

Mohamed Tarek Belaribi presented the AADL 3 housing programme to the People's National Assembly (APN) finance committee on Thursday, 22 October 2026, outlining an ambitious build‑out of 360,000 units.

The scheme targets a mix of accommodation: 10,000 public‑rental flats, 350,000 rent‑to‑own homes, 30,000 rural dwellings and 20,000 social lot plots for private construction.

State commitments to the project total 248 billion dinars, while notified credit lines amount to 317 billion dinars as of 30 September 2026.

Belaribi stressed that the spending is intended to preserve social balance, particularly in the housing sector, and said the government will monitor implementation closely.
