Minister Kouidri finalizes talks with Syntegon on Saidal vaccine line

Minister Ouacim Kouidri met the German firm Syntegon at its headquarters on Wednesday to finalise negotiations for Saidal to acquire a vaccine production line.

The talks examined the delivery timetable and the line’s production capacity, aligning with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s plan to achieve national health sovereignty and independence.

The line is intended to underpin future agreements with major international vaccine makers, allowing an integrated production cycle and technology transfer to Saidal.

Said Saidal aims to export vaccines to African countries through UNICEF supply programmes, which would expand Algeria’s presence in regional health markets.
