Ministry expands Sanâa 2 vocational programme with new specialties for women

The Ministry of Training and Vocational Education announced on Friday that the Sanâa 2 programme will add two new professional specialties in every province (wilaya).

The expansion introduces options specifically for women, joining six existing specialties that were previously limited to traditionally male‑attractive fields. Registration opened on 10 September and has been extended to 19 September to accommodate the wider offering.

The programme, open to all ages from 15 with no upper limit, provides each participant with 90 hours of practical training. Training sessions are scheduled to begin on 2 November 2026.

The ministry is currently verifying specialty data across wilayas and will contact registrants with further information.
