Olympiakos to Monitor Bouras Until 2026 End

Olympiakos are keeping a close eye on 23‑year‑old Algerian midfielder Akram Bouras, who returned from injury after a long absence and is currently playing for Levski Sofia. The Greek club will evaluate his performances in the UEFA Europa League and the Bulgarian league until the end of 2026 before deciding whether to act in the January 2027 transfer window.

Bouras, who joined Levski Sofia from MC Alger in the summer of 2025, has already helped the club secure the Bulgarian championship that season. Levski Sofia is keen to retain him until the end of the 2026 season if his form continues to improve. Olympiakos’ representative said, “We will decide in January 2027 based on his performances.”

The next steps for Bouras depend on his form in the remaining fixtures. If he continues to impress, a move to Olympiakos could materialise in the next winter transfer window, but Levski Sofia remains committed to keeping him until the season’s conclusion.
