Paris Saint‑Germain have confirmed they are keeping a close eye on 20‑year‑old Algerian international Ibrahim Maza, the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder who is under contract until 2030. The French giants see the young attacking midfielder or number 10 as a potential addition to their creative midfield options, alongside Dro Fernandez, Vitinha, João Neves, Warren Zaïre‑Emery and Fabián Ruiz.

Maza, who has attracted interest from several top clubs, could provide a central creative spark that would not replace a left‑winger but would bolster the central attacking role. He is expected to compete directly with Fabián Ruiz and could even become a long‑term replacement for the Spaniard if the move materialises.

The transfer will depend on PSG’s continued interest and Bayer Leverkusen’s willingness to sell, with no official offer yet on the table. The club’s scouting focus comes as they cope with the serious knee injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, announced on 21 October 2026, which has left a creative gap in the squad.
